December 09, 2011: Updated the CERT/MRC application form. The application form now has checkboxes for the applicant to choose either CERT/MRC or both can be chosen. This new form replaces the old individual forms. Click here for the new form.

September 29, 2011: CERT team members requested to assist the City of Franklin Fire Department at a "Second Alarm Water Supply" Exercise on October 12, 2011. Please contact your Coordinator if interested in participating.

September 29, 2011: The Greater Franklin-Bristol Citizen Corps Council has unanimously approved the "Team Leader" job description as submitted this past Tuesday. This position will fill our Organizational Goals for identifying a volunteer(s), who will assist in making our organizations more efficient, responsive to the communities, and self sufficient. Download the job description and if you are up the the challenge please feel free to submit a letter of interest to your Coordinator.

These Sit Reps will be updated daily so please check here often for the latest reports from the Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management. All Sit Reps will be in pdf. document format.

August 16, 2011: Added the July RCC minutes to the RCC page. The next meeting of the Greater Franklin-Bristol Public Health Region's Coordinating Council will be on September 27, 2011 from 9-11 a.m. at Bristol Fire. Chief Yannuzzi will be demonstrating equipment purchased from our Regional grant funds which increased capacity to our MACE location!

August 15, 2011: Added the Centers for Domestic Preparedness course schedule for the remainder of this year. This training is free if you have a linkage to a municipality ie. police, fire, E.M.S., health officer, or other government official. Find the schedule here.

August 07, 2011: Summer training session a big success!! Thanks to all our CERT and MRC volunteers who participated in the third annual summer training and luncheon at Whole Village in Plymouth on August 6th.
